Pitching Information:

  • Unfold pole sections, allowing them to click together gently. Ensure all sections are fully inserted.
  • Lay out the tent on the site you have chosen. If possible, pitch either one of the ends into the wind. (Loosen the webbing straps on all four corners and the 2 pole straps and peg out these four points)
  • Thread the pole into the pole sleeve.  Do not pull it through.
  • Insert the pole spike into the plastic pole end receptacle on one side of the tent.  Flex the pole and place the other end of the pole into the pole spike on the opposite side of the tent.
  • Once the tent is standing, tighten the webbing straps on the corners equally. Then tension the fly by tightening the webbing straps near the pole sleeve.
  • Guy ropes have been provided to stabilise it when exposed to windy conditions.
  • The Snow /Sand Anchor is used by digging an hole 1ft cube and placing the opened anchor bag inside the hole and then filling up with either Sand or Snow.
  • Once the Anchor is buried, use feet to stamp and secure the Sand or Snow and then pull the straps and hook to either the elasticated peg hoops or to a guy rope.
  • Always remember to loosen all straps prior to dismantling.

Care:

  • Clear campsite of sharp sticks and stones and check for overhead dangers
  • Use the guy ropes provided in windy conditions
  • Prolong the life of your tent by using a groundsheet whenever possible
  • Avoid leaving your tent pitched in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
  • Always make sure your poles are connected properly in order to prevent pole ends from splitting
  • Allow your tent to dry completely and remove any mud or dirt before storing
  • Clean fly and floor with water and brush
  • Keep zips clean of mud and sand
  • Store tent loosely folded and in a cool area
  • Avoid contact with harsh chemicals or direct heat
