The Baden Powell Award can be obtained through either of 2 Methods: A or B. The Spiritual Development Badge is one of four badges that must be obtained through Method B. All are designed to examine the Aim of the Scouting Movement in relation to the objectives of the badge

Method B requires the participant to discuss and outline the objectives of each badge with their Crew prior to begining and provide status reports during the project. The projects then need to be planned and undertaken to receive the Award. In choosing this method, the participant must obtain the Spiritual Development Badge, Intellectual & Emotional Development Badge, Social Development Badge and the Physical Development Badge. How is it worn? The four badges form a diamond on the right sleeve, below the Rover Skills Badge. This badge should be situated at the centre left of the Award diamond.
