Pitching Information:

  • Unfold pole sections, allowing them to click together gently.  Ensure all sections are fully inserted.
  • Lay out the inner tent on the site you have chosen.  Insert the tip of one of the long poles into one of the brass eyelets, flex the pole and place the other end of the pole into the eyelet on the diagonally opposite corner of the tent.  Repeat for the other long pole.  Connect the quick fix clips on the tent to the poles.
  • Lay the remaining short brow pole over the intersection of the long poles.  Connect the two remaining quick fix clips to the brow pole on the far side of each stopper.  You can now move this freestanding  tent around your camp site to get the best position.
  • TIP: Use the inner by itself in good weather for an insect free sleep.
  • Throw the fly sheet over.  To get the perfect pitch attach the velcro tabs on the inside of the fly around the poles.
  • Connect the side release buckles on the fly to the inner near the peg out loops.  Peg out all four corners of your tent as well as the two vestibules.
  • Tension the buckles to make the fly taught and even around the tent.
  • Guy ropes have been provided with this tent to stabilise it when exposed to windy conditions.

Care:

  • Clear campsite of sharp sticks and stones and check for overhead dangers
  • Use the guy ropes provided in windy conditions
  • Prolong the life of your tent by using a groundsheet whenever possible
  • Avoid leaving your tent pitched in direct sunlight for extended periods of time
  • Always make sure your poles are connected properly in order to prevent pole ends from splitting
  • Allow your tent to dry completely and remove any mud or dirt before storing
  • Clean fly and floor with water and brush
  • Keep zips clean of mud and sand
  • Store tent loosely folded and in a cool area
  • Avoid contact with harsh chemicals or direct heat
