Placing Your First Order

Shopping with Snowgum is easy. To place your first order, follow the steps below.

  • Find what you want
  • Add the item/s to your Shopping Bag
  • Checking Out

Find what you want

Browse the Categories or use the Snowgum Search Engine for the items you'd like to order. When browsing, there are a few features that will allow you to find what you are after, faster. Enter any of the categories and / or sub-categories via the Horizontal Navigation Bar on the Snowgum Homepage. Here you will find a range of products with a drop-down menu in the main area of the page and the Vertical Navigation Bar on the left. Use this Bar to view sub-categories and Brands carried within the category.

At arriving in a category, product searches can be further narrowed by sorting the products. The drop down menu in the main area of the page allows searching via name or price.

The Snowgum Search Engine allows you to go directly to a Brand or Product you would like to view. For example, if you wanted to view all Icebreaker Product, simply type in "Icebreaker" then ENTER and all of the products will appear. Respectively, type in the name of the product you are after e.g. Oasis Crew, press ENTER and you will be directed to the product. No fuss.

Add the item/s to your Shopping Bag

Found what you are after? Want further information on a product? Click on the product to find out more about it. Within the product you can view the product description and sometimes, any additional information that may be relevant. This is also where you can view more imagery magnified and the colours and sizes (or other variables) available in that product.

Want to order a product? Simply select the colour and size (or other variable/s) that you are after e.g. A Snowgum Ankara Jacket in Blue Bell, Size 12. Then, click the nearby "Add to Bag" button. A little pop-up window will appear, notifying you that your addition was successful.

From here, you have two options…continue shopping or proceed to the checkout. From within the product, you can continue searching within the current category by using the Horizontal Browser Bar located to the right, next to the main product image. Otherwise, as outlined in the First Step, you can continue browsing via Categories or through the Snowgum Search Engine.

You can access the contents of your Shopping Bag at any time by clicking the "Items in your Bag" link in the shopping Cart Facility (top right corner of the page). Here you can review the details of the items you have added (style, colour, size, quantity, price etc…) and amend your order if necessary. You can also access the Checkout Process from here.

Checking Out

You can proceed to the Checkout two ways. Within a product, click on the grey “Checkout" Button, or in the Shopping Cart Facility, click “Checkout”.

Checkout is a four-step process. These steps are:

  1. Your Shopping Bag
  2. Shipping & Billing
  3. Review & Payment
  4. Confirmation

You can view your movement through the process by taking note of the horizontal bar located at the top of the page above “Your Shopping Bag”. Where you currently sit within the process is highlighted in orange.

  1. Your Shopping Bag

Here you can review the details of the items you have added (style, colour, size, quantity, price etc…) and amend your order if necessary. It is important to review your Shopping Bag before proceeding to the next step to ensure you have chosen the correct products, but also, the correct variables of products (size, colour etc…)

      2.  Shipping & Billing

When you have reviewed your Shopping Bag and are satisfied, calculate your shipping cost by entering your country and postcode (if applicable) in the fields provided. Calculate your postage

Choose your preferred shipping option – Regular or Express Post. Charges incurred for each option are stated here.

Continue to proceed through the Checkout by entering your current email address in the field provided. It is important to use an address that is current which you will remember as any email communications from Snowgum will be directed to this address and this email address is required to access your Online Customer Account Details.

Enter a Coupon Code in the field provided if you taking advantage of a special offer (where a coupon code has been provided to you).

Enter your Snowgum Club Number in the field provided. This should be 7 characters long, inclusive of the leading zero.

At this point, you can opt to continue shopping or proceed through the Checkout. To continue Checking Out, enter your delivery address details. All Fields marked with an “*” are required. Continue to the next step.

Please Note:

      * If you have opted to have your order shipped to a PO Box, please enter "PO BOX" before the number to ensure that the order is delivered.

      * While we can direct our carrier to deliver your parcel according to directions you specify in the “Additional Comments” field, we have no way of guaranteeing the instructions 

         will be carried out.

      3.   Review & Payment

Review your Shopping Bag and your Delivery Details, ensuring all details are correct.

If you need to amend your Shopping Bag, you can return to this step of the process by selecting the Shopping Bag tab in the top Navigation Bar. If you need to amend your Address Details, click on edit. This will take you back to the Shipping & Billing page.

When you are satisfied, select your payment option. There are three Payment Options:

Credit Card: Enter your Card details in the Required (*) Fields. Please note: Enter your Credit Card number without spaces or dashes. Select “Complete Order”.

Phone: Select “Complete Order”.

Cheque / Money Order: Select “Complete Order”.

      4.   Confirmation

Upon successfully completing the order your payment will be processed and you will be taken to a new page. Print your Invoice. The invoice produced will appear on a separate Browser page. This is a web-generated invoice and is your record of your online order. It is your reference should you have any enquires. A Snowgum Invoice will be forwarded with your parcel/s.

Please take note of the stated email address on your invoice. This web-generated invoice is sent as a confirmation email to your stated email address to notify you of our receipt of your order.

Phone, Cheque & Money Order

Print your Invoice. The invoice produced will appear on a separate Browser page. This is a web-generated invoice and is your record of your online order. It is your reference should you have any enquires. A Snowgum Invoice will be forwarded with your parcel/s.

Please take note of the stated email address on your invoice. This web-generated invoice is sent as a confirmation email to your stated email address to notify you of our receipt of your order.

If you are paying by phone, you will need to quote your order number to the Customer Service Representative to ensure speedy service. This is located on your Invoice to the right e.g. ORD-0001. Phone FREECALL Australia 1800 811 312 to make your payment. Phones are manned 9am – 5:30pm Mon-Fri AEST.

Cheque or Money Orders should be attached to your invoice and sent to:

This will allow the Distribution staff to process your payment and your order quickly.

Pan down to the bottom of the Confirmation page. Here you have the ability to enter a password. This password has a couple of functions.

Firstly, it will allow you to access your Customer Account through the Customer Account Login. The login is located in the Shopping Cart Facility in the top right hand corner of the Website or here.

Secondly, it will allow you to specify a previous Shipping Address during the Checking Out process as a return online purchaser.

Enter your password.
