Placing Your First Order
Shopping with Snowgum Online is easy. Once you place your first order with us, we save your details so you won't have to fill them all in the next time you visit us!
To place your first order, follow these 8 simple steps. (If you do have a problem, our Troubleshooting Tips section should provide the answer)
- Find what you want
- Add them to your shopping bag
- Proceed to the Checkout
- Sign In
- Enter your Shipping Address
- Provide a Password and your Payment Info.
- Review and Submit Your Order
- Check Your Order Status
1. Find what you want
Browse or search for the items you'd like to order. Keyword search boxes are located on most pages to assist you. You'll find links in the navigation bar that allow you to browse by department and narrow the search by category, brand, size, color, and price. When you find an item, click its image or name to see the full details.
2. Add them to your Shopping Bag
Ready to order? Just click the "Add to Bag" button on the item's product detail page. Once you've added the item to your Shopping Bag use the cart's top navigation bar or the "Continue shopping" button to keep searching or browsing until your bag contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Bag at any time by clicking the "Items in your Bag" link in the top right corner of the page.
3. Proceed to the Checkout
Ready to Checkout? If you're on a product page, click on the "Checkout" link (it'll take you to the Shopping Bag page. Here's a chance to review your selection. Changed your mind on an item? That's OK... click the "Remove" button. When you are ready to order everything in your cart, fill in the shipping calculator and click the "Checkout" button - you'll be taken to the first page of the order form.
The following instructions explain each step of our online order form. At any point, if you have a problem or receive an error message, please check out our troubleshooting tips.
4. Sign In
Enter your e-mail address - indicate that you are a new customer and click the "Sign-in" button. (IMPORTANT - the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address we can send information about subsequent orders.) Do not fill in the password field. Not Yet! - You'll be asked to for an account password later in the process.
5. Enter your Shipping Address
Where would you like us to ship your order? Tell us! If you're shipping to a post office box, please enter the words "PO BOX" before your box number to ensure that the order is delivered by Australia Post.
6. Provide a Password and your Payment Information
Create a password. This password will mean when you return, you can use the same shipping address and method of payment you provided during this first order. Your password will also allow you to make changes to your order and account information.
Now...how you would like to pay for your order? We accept MasterCard & Visa. All orders must be prepaid. IMPORTANT - Please enter your credit card number without spaces or dashes.
7. Review and Submit Your Order
Check the details you've provided and make any necessary changes. When you're ready, click the "place order" button to submit your order. Once your order has been submitted successfully, we'll send you a confirmation e-mail message.
8. Check Your Order Status
If you would like to review or change something about the order you placed before it enters the shipping process, click the Track your order link at the top right hand corner of most pages on our site. Here you will be able to change the particulars of your order without having to contact us.
