Membership Dues
An $11 membership fee applies for the period 1st April to 31st March (in the following year). All memberships expire on 31st March regardless of joining date.
Scout customers join for free in their first membership period.
On joining you'll receive..
- A membership card (at your first store visit)
- A current newsletter
- Current promotional material i.e. catalogue, flyer etc
Customers who cross between countries to purchase:
If an Australian store is presented with a Snowgum club card from New Zealand, the customer receives a 10% discount at point of sale. This direct discount is instead of the rebate, as we cannot track member purchases internationally.
New Zealand stores will do the same for Australian snowgumclub members.
Rebate Gift Vouchers.
These are sent out every May in the form of a gift voucher, redeemable through to the 31st of March of the following year. Please note - Vouchers are not redeemable for cash under any circumstances.
Rebate gift vouchers have no restrictions and can be used to purchase "On Sale" items and pay off lay-bys. The 10% rebate does accrue when members purchase using their rebate gift voucher.
A member with purchases of over $150.00 for the year will have the $11.00 renewal deducted from their rebate gift voucher and will receive a rebate gift voucher for the remainder. The rebate voucher will have an accompanying cover letter. If the member does not wish to renew they can come in to the store, present the letter and receive a refund for the $11.00
A member who has made purchases of less than $150.00 for the year will receive their full rebate, but will be sent a letter offering them continuing membership if they come into the store and pay the $11.00 renewal fee.
A member who has made no purchases for the year will have no rebate and will be sent a letter suspending their membership but inviting them to rejoin by paying the $11.00 renewal fee.
